Cox Family of West VirginiaThis family has been traced back to George Cox and Mary Haines, who married in 1791 in Shawangunk, Ulster Co. NY. I don't have any documentation, however.George and Ann are said to be the parents of Isaac Cox, born about 1803, who married Eleanor Coen. My research begins with George W. Cox, son of Isaac and Eleanor, and his wife Eliza J. Flowers.
